Marie Elena began her career working with persons with disabilities in finding gainful employment. She has an innate gift of helping and empowering people achieve their vocational goals. As Director of Career Services for a non-traditional private, for profit-school, she was recruited to restore the institute’s reputation of gainful employment statistics coupled with robust job search strategies. This was accomplished by collaborating to formulate a curriculum approved by the Middle States Commission and College President. This new change brought about higher employment statistics through collaborative efforts made by the student and career services team.
Ms. Vulpis went on to continue her career in human resources and recruiting in the health care sector. She was instrumental in reducing time-to-fill rates, boosting cross-departmental collaboration, and developing seamless on-boarding strategies that reduced onboarding by 50 percent.
